Marley's First Family Ride

Every first Sunday of the warm season, the bike shop hosts family rides around Alameda. Today was Marley's first time out of the trailer and on his own bike! He did great!

Isabel

Our darling little girl arrived into our hearts on August 23, 2010 at 4:20am. She was born at home in what was a wonderful, emotional, and intimate birth experience. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.

Her full name is Isabel Yaesun Oh, but we call her "Izzie." We love her so much and thank our Creator for blessing our lives with her presence.

This video was taken during Marley's 1st visit to the mall at night time. The buzz of activity got Marley so excited - not to mention the escalators. Even after a hard day at work, Gene humored Marley with about 20 trips up and down this set of escalators. The video shows it at about the 18th time. I love seeing the world through Marley's eyes because it helps me to appreciate the simple pleasures in life.

He is a happy kid.

Our ultrasound came back and results are....a healthy girl! I'm so excited that we're having a girl. YIPEEEE!!!!
This picture is from the A's home opener a few nights ago when Gene took Marley and as you can see they're hanging out with our close friends Kris and Kenleigh.

Spring 2010

Spring is here! The new year has brought about many exciting events for our family.

We moved into a new home on New Year's Eve. It's a cozy Craftsman style bungalow on the east end of Alameda. It's been so wonderful being able to enjoy the comforts of Alameda by foot and bicycle. We love it here!

And more exciting news...Marley's going to be a big brother this August. Our little growing family is ever-expanding. :) We find out the sex of the baby this Thursday so updates are still to come.

Halloween in Portland

Elmo has some juice

We just came home from a week in Portland to visit my parents. My brother, sister-in-law, and niece joined us for the fun. Our friends, Todd and Angie, came down from Washington with their twin girls also. All in all, the week was a great time with full tummies, hot coffee, and plenty of R&R.
